Bimota Motorcycles was founded in 1972 after a crash by then racer Massimo Tamburini led him to build a stronger lighter frame capable of withstanding high horsepower engines. With the creation of the HB1 Bimota was born. Since then with many ups and downs Bimota has been producing world class exotic art in the form of Italian motorcycles including the hub steered TESI 1D.
