Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle
Excelsior-Henderson began production in the spring of 1999 and sold approximately 2000 motorcycles over the following summer and fall. The impending financial market collapse resulted in Excelsior-Henderson not having the opportunity to complete the next scheduled capital infusion. Therefore on December 21 1999 Excelsior-Henderson filed for bankruptcy reorganization and production of motorcycles did not resume. Today the motorcycles are highly coveted and well regarded as among the finest motorcycles built. Scorpion makes a high performance fully sealed AGM battery that exceeds the standard set for the Super X.
